Long-term care staff (RPNs, PSWs) and their employer participated in research to help to better understand what makes PSWs and RPNs feel valued in their work. This video is an outcome of this research and highlights/presents/showcases the subtleties of healthcare providers’ perspectives may inspire care partners – including LTC administrators, supervisors, residents, families, and staff – to support PSWs and RPNs in LTC to feel valued, ultimately enhancing inclusivity and retention in this sector serving older adult Canadians in the future.
