March 2019 - 13 RPN Bursaries Awarded

To support RPN leadership development

Growing RPN leadership and/or optimizing the RPN role at the organizational level

A RPN (an emerging leader) and an established formal/ informal leader-mentor must attend as a dyad. WeRPN will provide funding for RPNs in the dyad. If the leader-mentor in the dyad is not a RPN, then the organization must provide funding for the leader-mentor/partner to attend. The organization must provide an Executive Sponsor and support the completion of a capstone leadership project.

Please submit a brief (500 word max.) expression of interest including:

  • who the proposed participants are
  • why you have selected these participants (experience, career goals)
  • how the dyad will work together
  • the intent of the proposed capstone project

RPNAO requests a brief report (maximum 500 words) within 6 months of completion of the Dorothy Wylie Health Leaders Institute, summarizing the RPN leadership development experience and outlining the progress/outcomes of the capstone project.
