Thursday A.M.: Igniting Your Leadership (Virtual Event)

This Nursing Week we’re supporting RPNs in fast tracking their leadership development. Are you interested in enhancing your personal leadership skills? If so, join us from 9-11 a.m. for this free online session where we will introduce you to WeRPN’s new innovative Leadership Program and share strategies on how to lead yourself and influence others to deliver practice excellence!

Thursday P.M.: Wound Care (Virtual Event)

Join us at 1 p.m. for an engaging and interactive wound care educational session. Heather Giorgi is an RPN and Wound Care Champion, who will share what this exciting role entails, the education that is relevant, what the career path can look like. We will also discuss Wound Care advice and strategies for our nurses and patients as well.

Friday: Nursing Now Ontario Awards (Virtual Event)

On Friday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m., join us virtually to celebrate all of Ontario’s nurses at the Nursing Now Ontario Awards. During this virtual ceremony, we will award three special nurses — in the categories of RPN, RN and NP — who have been nominated by their peers and the public.

The Awards are jointly presented by the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario (WeRPN), the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) and the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA).
