Supporting nurse well-being through self-care resources, a priority since 2016 based on member feedback. Insights from a study on the resilience of Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) in home and community care (HCC) were reviewed by an expert advisory panel to assess and enhance. The findings guided the development of practical, user-friendly tools for nurses. To evaluate the toolkit’s impact, WeRPN partnered with Western University researchers under a Humanities Research Council of Canada grant to explore RPNs’ experiences, aiming to inform strategies for recruitment, retention, and revitalization of the HCC nursing workforce.
