The Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Lori Singh as Chief Executive Officer of WeRPN effective June 29, 2026. Lori’s appointment marks an exciting step forward for the organization as we continue to strengthen our advocacy, elevate the voice of Registered Practical Nurses, and advance WeRPN’s mission across Ontario. This transition also marks an opportunity to recognize retiring CEO Dianne Martin, whose leadership and dedication for nearly 20 years have helped shape WeRPN into the strong and respected organization it is today.
Lori is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience leading transformation across digital health, patient support programs, healthcare operations, and strategic innovation. A Registered Practical Nurse by background, Lori brings a unique combination of clinical experience, business acumen, systems thinking, and operational leadership to the role. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her ability to build high-performing teams, drive meaningful change, and advance patient-centred solutions within complex healthcare environments.
Most recently, Lori served as Vice President, Pharma Solutions and Digital Health at Calian Group, where she led national operations spanning digital health technology solutions and patient support programs, including oversight of a large nursing network delivering in-home patient care. In this executive role, Lori led multidisciplinary teams across operations, product innovation and technology, with accountability for enterprise strategy, operational performance, financial stewardship, and growth initiatives. She also represented the organization nationally and internationally on digital health transformation, innovation, and patient support program modernization.
Prior to joining Calian, Lori held senior leadership roles at Roche Canada, Takeda Canada, AstraZeneca Canada, Innomar Strategies, and Bayshore Specialty Rx, where she led large-scale patient support operations and transformation initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas. Her experience includes oversight of multimillion-dollar budgets, complex vendor networks, operational redesign, and the implementation of digital solutions that improved patient access, efficiency, and care delivery. She is also a respected advocate for enhanced patient care and digital health transformation, and has spoken on prominent stages to help advance meaningful change across the healthcare system.
Earlier in her career, Lori practiced as a front-line Registered Practical Nurse at Trillium Health Partners, where she gained direct clinical experience in surgical inpatient and maternal newborn care. Her lived experience as an RPN, combined with her extensive healthcare leadership background, provides her with a strong understanding of the realities facing nursing professionals and the evolving healthcare landscape in Ontario.
Lori holds a Global Executive MBA for Healthcare and Life Sciences from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and is a Certified Health Executive (CHE). She is also a long-standing WeRPN member and has remained actively engaged in conversations surrounding nursing practice, professional advocacy, digital innovation, and health system transformation throughout her career.
As WeRPN continues to strengthen its advocacy role and elevate the professional voice of Registered Practical Nurses across Ontario, Lori’s combination of clinical credibility, strategic leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to healthcare transformation will be instrumental in guiding the organization into its next chapter.
Please join us in welcoming Lori to WeRPN as Chief Executive Officer. We are excited for the vision, energy, and leadership she will bring as the organization continues to champion the profession and shape the future of practical nursing in Ontario.
