De-escalation

The De-escalation series is designed to provide learners with support in recognizing behaviours that can potentially escalate and ways to safely de-escalate a situation and has been converted to self-directed learning modules for your convenience. Registration is not necessary.

The program consists of 3 self-directed learning modules. Each module is approximately 45 minutes.

Participants must have access to a computer and basic computer skills to participate.

The De-escalation series was developed to provide support for RPNs for early recognition of behaviours that can result in a potential conflict situation and to provide participants with non-verbal and verbal techniques to manage these behaviours.
