Today, we learned of the tragic death of Ontario RPN, Maureen Ambersley. WeRPN has issued the following statement:
The Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (WeRPN) was extremely saddened to hear the passing of Maureen Ambersley.
Maureen, a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), was a selfless and committed nurse who dedicated her career to caring for others and over the past several months was at the forefront of Ontario’s fight against COVID-19.
Maureen’s untimely death is a tragic loss for Ontario’s nursing community. WeRPN would like to express sincere condolences to Maureen’s family, friends, co-workers, and residents whose lives she impacted.
