WeRPN was very concerned to learn that a recently released government directive for nurses in public hospitals that applied only to Ontario Nurses Association members. WeRPN has written an open letter to the Chief Medical Officer of Health requesting urgent clarification of this directive that has the unintended consequence of prioritizing the protection of one nurse over another that ultimately putts thousands of RPNs, as well as the patients they care for, at risk.
