We have received the much-anticipated Ministry of Health funding renewal for the WeRPN Nursing Education Initiative (NEI). WeRPN secured funding for the current fiscal year (April 1 2021 to March 31 2022) and for the next fiscal year (April 1 2022 to March 31 2023.)
RPNs undertaking professional development courses or programs may be eligible for education grant funding of up to $1,500. These education grants are intended to reimburse base tuition fees as well as registration fees for conferences, seminars, and workshops. To be eligible for funding, the professional development courses or programs must enhance the quality of care and services provided in Ontario.
